Vinyasa Yoga with Valerie
Valerie Griffiths offers yoga sessions for both groups and individuals. Classes are based in both her private yoga studio, the Breathing Barn, in Portsmouth RI and also Newport Power Yoga in Newport, RI. Valerie welcomes all levels of students to her classes and can customize her sessions as needed. She specializes in Vinyasa Yoga which emphasizes breathing techniques and meditation to improve physical and mental well-being.

Valerie offers private instruction for both individuals and groups, including bridal parties and other special events. Sessions are hosted at Newport Power Yoga and in her personal yoga studio, the Breathing Barn, in Portsmouth, RI. All experience levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced. You may bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle if you choose. All that’s required is comfortable-fitting clothing and an open mind.
The power of Vinyasa yoga lies in linking your breath with your pose. A continuous flow of movement synchronized with breath will lead to an empowered hour to restore your week.

Valerie leads Heated Power Vinyasa classes at Newport Power Yoga in Newport, RI, and at her home studio The Breathing Barn in Portsmouth, RI. It’s a vigorous and challenging style of yoga designed to build strength, balance and flexibility, in the body and mind. Valerie’s unique teaching allows students to go within through self inquiry and introspection. Each class is based upon a Vinyasa flow which may include inversions, core work, and meditation. The room is heated to between 90 and 95 degrees. Be ready to move, sweat and feel vibrantly alive at the end of class!
